Well, hello there, whoever you are, and welcome to my website. This page is meant to tell you about me and this site and what it's for, and so I shall do so now.
This site was hand built mainly by me, with some extremely useful help with PHPing from my friend Eliot Ball. We're currently in the middle of a "well-laid-out-website-that-doesn't-work-on-Internet-Explorer-6" competition. I started work on this site while on work experience at a web design company called Stardotstar, who are very kindly currently hosting my files on their server as well as providing my hostname, plus all the excellent help they gave while I was learning HTML and CSS from literal scratch.
Since then my site has evolved and shifted forms several times, eventually coming to rest as it is now: a well-structured block with some funky programming going on behind the scenes, and a growing display of projects, artwork, sketches, paintings, miniatures, stories, and many forms of geekery.
There's also links to my two blogs. Pertinent Geekery features occassional updates consisting of reviews of books, films or video games, or painting guides for especially cool miniatures that I've done. The other one, Impertinent Geekery, is much less ordered, featuring regular rantings and ravings about something or other that currently occupies the forefront of my mind; largely Warhammer 40000, Firefly, Orks, Primeval, peperamis and Pokemon.
That's about it. Good luck! Try not to get lost!
